In December 2025, Wazi Kenya represented at the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) in Nairobi, joining 1,000+ young people from 70 countries to advocate for youth engagement in environmental governance.
Our delegation focused on menstrual waste management — an overlooked intersection of health, gender, and environment. We called for policies that address the environmental impact of disposable menstrual products while ensuring girls maintain access to affordable hygiene solutions.
UNEA-7 was a milestone moment for our team, proving that grassroots organizations can have a voice in global policy.
